Pastor David Fleischmann          

 
Pastor Fleishmann was installed as Pastor at Prince of Peace on October 11, 2020 and looks forward to serving God and serving you and the Yuma community with God’s Word. He hopes that you will never feel shy about talking with him and asking him to help you with God’s Word. May God help us grow together in his Word and in service to God!

Pastor and Kim have been blessed with their three children and four grandchildren. Pastor’s two daughters graduated from Martin Luther College and married pastors. Pastor’s son also graduated from Martin Luther College and is in his Vicar Year at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He is serving this year in Verona, Wisconsin.

After serving in Morris, Pastor and family took a call to serve a dual parish in Austin, Minnesota. After serving here for seven years, Pastor took the call to serve at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, WI.

After ten years away from his studies for the ministry, Pastor returned to his studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. After his graduation, Pastor was called to serve at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Morris, MN.

After a couple years in Kingman, Pastor and family moved to Nashotah, Wisconsin where their son Jonathan was born. Here, Pastor worked for Sentry Foods.
After living in Reno for five years, Pastor and Kim moved (with their infant daughter Carrie) to Kingman, AZ where their second child, Bethany was born. In Kingman, Pastor worked for Pilot Truck Stop and Schwan’s Frozen Foods.

A year after graduating from college, Pastor moved with his parents to Reno, Nevada where he worked at Smith’s grocery store. In Reno, Pastor met and married Kimberly Jarcik, a Tucson native who was teaching at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran School in Reno. Kim’s parents moved to Kingman, AZ when she was in college at Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm.

Pastor graduated from Northwestern Preparatory School and Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin. After his graduation from college, Pastor chose to take some time off from his studies for the ministry.

Pastor Fleischmann was born and raised in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He was in the second graduating class from First Ev. Lutheran School in Lake Geneva.
